King Foundation, NTFB award grants

The King Foundation recently awarded the Cedar Hill Food Pantry a grant for $15,000 to be used toward the purchase of a 3/4 ton pickup truck. The King Foundation is a private philanthropic organization that plays a part in meeting community needs.

The truck is an essential need for food pickups to the Pantry.  The $15,000, plus funds from caring citizens whose donations were earmarked for the procurement of the truck, allowed Cedar Hill Food Pantry to pay cash for the pickup.

The Pantry is very grateful to the King Foundation for their financial assistance.

North Texas Food Bank awarded a $10,000 grant that will allow Cedar Hill Food Pantry credit when purchasing food for aproximately six months, or until the $10,000 is used up.
