"I am still reeling from the news." said Executive Director Gene Sims. This will provide much needed help toward meeting our rising demand for food. Our number of individuals meals given out went up in the past year and don't seem to be slowing down. We are busting at the seams trying to keep food stocked to meet our needs."

God is moving in fantastic ways. We have been blessed with a land acquisition grant of $100,000 through the Community Foundation of  North Texas that will cover most of the land under contract.
for our new, much needed facility. Now we receive the $25,274 from Dallas Morning News Charities to help cover food. We will soon be starting a Capital Campaign to cover the cost of the building.
